السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
All praise is due to Allah SWT.
Dear Brothers and Sisters.
Inshaa Allah, the first day of fasting Ramadan is Thursday, 23 ,2023.
Iqamah for Isha prayer will be 20 Minutes after Adhan, followed by Taraweeh prayers starting Wednesday, 22, 2023.
Also, Qiamulail / Tahajud will be daily at 05:00 AM during Ramadan, starting on Thursday, 23, 2023 Inshaa Alla.
May Allah SWT accept all our good deeds.

The Masjid is open for daily and Jumu'ah Prayers

Eid Al Adha day will be Saturday July 9th in shaa Allah
Eid prayer will start at 8:00 AM in shaa Allah at our new masjid field on Derbyshire and Brentwood in Daytona Beach, address is 825 Derbyshire Road, Daytona Beach, FL

If rain we will do the Salah at the masjid on Keech street at 8.30 am
Water, tea, coffee, and sweets will be provided for breakfast in shaa Allah. If you would like to share breakfast dish, ICDB appreciate your contribution of breakfast dishes.

Prayer Schedule - Dhul Qi'dah 1443 - June 2022

Eid Al Fitr 1443

Alsalamu alaykom wa rahmatul Allahi wa barakatuhu 
Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar  La ilaha ila Allah
Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar wa lillahi alhamd

Eid prayer will start at 9:15 AM, in shaa Allah, at the City Island Park at 113 Jackie Robinson Pkwy, Daytona Beach, FL 32114

If it rains, we will do the Salah at the masjid at 9:30 AM

Please bring with you a thermos of tea or coffee, a case of drinking water, morning juice or drinks, breakfast dishes (Men, women) to share with your community.

Some of the Sunnah is to take a bath (Ghusul), eat some dates and head to the Musalah to perform Salah.

Covid-19 Update - September 2021

​Al Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

We will return to Jumaa Prayers in shaa Allah starting this Friday September 3rd 

COVID has not disappeared and cases have exceeded ER rooms availability so we have to be cautious during our time participating in ICDB activities.

1- If you have any signs or symptoms of flu or a higher than normal temperature please refrain from attending. Temp will be checked.

2- Attendance is for adults and children age 12+ Proof of age is required for attendance.

3- Please follow directions of assigned staff, remember  that the goal is to be safe.

4- Face mask and prayer rug (2x2 cloth may be used) are conditions of attending please bring your face mask and prayer rug with you. 

5-Masjid doors will be opened at 1:20 
Salah starts at 1:35
Khutbah will be 15 to 20 min. Guidelines of CDC allow a maximum of 35 min indoors.

6-Please proceed to the front and fill the available space. We will maintain a minimum of 3 to 4 ft. distance during the Khutbah and Friday prayer.


7-Attendance is thru Front Door Only for Men participants ICDB doors will be locked after reaching  capacity. We are anticipating full capacity at 107 including space available at the social rooms.. This rule will be followed strictly. Please do not knock or attempt to enter if doors are closed you may follow the prayer using outdoor areas.

8- Wudu areas may be locked so please come in the state of purity and be ready for salat.

9- All Muslims are welcome to join in helping and keeping our community safe. If you are interested in being a door monitor, temp checker, or assistant in helping our attendees safe being, please ask brother Saleem Akhtar, Mustafa Isa, or Mounir Khabazeh to be added to our safety teams.

Covid-19 Update - August 2021

After consultation with health professionals and as recommended by doctors and health professionals in the area,

ICDB will not be hosting Friday prayers at the Islamic Center of Daytona Beach until further notice.

Many members have tested positive for COVID and in an effort to control the spread of the virus the ICDB will not permit group activities to be held in the masjid except the Fajr, Maghrib and Isha prayers .

Face mask, Social distance, and prayer rug are required to attend these three (3) prayers.

No congregation prayers beyond the approved three daily prayers will be permitted without ICDB written approval until further notice.

 
May Allah protect our community and cure all.  Ameen

Due to the weather forecast, Eid prayer will be held inside the current/existing masjid, at 347 Keech St, Daytona Beach, FL 32114.

Since the space is limited and if we reach capacity there will be two Eid prayers/two groups, the first will start at 08:30 AM and the second will start at 09:45 AM. Parking is limited around the masjid so please carpool when possible.

Reminder that Zakat Al-Fitr is due before Eid prayer.

Ramadan 1442 / 2021

Assalamu alaykum,

Tomorrow, Tuesday, insha'Allah, will be the first day of Ramadan.

Taraweeh prayers will be held in the masjid daily, right after Isha prayer.

The Iqama for Isha prayer will be initially 45 minutes after Athan, this is subject to change, please check back for any updates.

There will not be Iftar/food in the masjid this year, please bring your rug and wear your mask.

All other activities are cancelled, except prayers.

Alhamdulillah we were able to resume Jumuaa Prayers since Friday October 2nd.
And the daily prayers are to be resumed on the following days.

Please read the following carefully:

1- If you have any signs or symptoms of flu or a higher than normal temperature please refrain from attending.

2- Activity attendees have to sign and bring with them a release form.
You may print or fill one available at entrances prior to entering ICDB.

3- Please follow all directions of the assigned staff.

4- Face mask and prayer rug (2x2 cloth may be used) are requirements for attending.

5-Masjid doors will be opened at 1:20 PM and Salah will start at 1:35 PM. Khutbah will be 15 min.
